We'll Start Panicking When The Ship Stops Sinking

This is a poem/possible song lyrics of mine I really liked. Its about how we collectively just watch as our problems get worse, instead of doing something with them. I feel that everyone can relate. I hope you enjoy it. (its supposed to be ironic)

We'll start panicking when the ship stops sinking

So take off your thinking caps, this isn't the time for thinking

The waters flowing deep, the world is at our feet

This isn't a time for thinking

We'll start panicking when the ship stops sinking

So lets pull out the rum and coke, maybe its time for drinking

It seems we have no choice, we're all at mercy to the host

Maybe its time for drinking

We'll start panicking when the ship stops sinking

The waters past our heads, I think its time for breathing

You look so pretty underwater, but no more pretty than any other

I think its time for breathing

We'll start panicking when the ship stops sinking

I think its time to say goodnight tonight, so lets turn out the lights

Lets try and get some sleep, tomorrow we'll talk about defeat

Its time to say goodnight tonight

Black and white
No color divides
The lines between the world I see
The words between the lines I read

A Desire to Fly Higher

This is the piece the post is named after, A Desire to Fly Higher

You desire, I fly higher
With both worlds exploding
And the earth-shattering understanding
We understood what it took
I understand what we took
With cold fire burning in our veins
Is only the slight understanding of fate
Words no longer match the actions
When language means less than Latin
Understanding's all it took
To find their way home in the fairy tail books
But we're no longer story book settlers
Our lives crash as spears in distant arenas

When I made the original square piece my desktop background, it tiled it similar to this. I really enjoyed the effect.
